Sheryln and Friends
Sheryln with The Brisbane Project
. . . at age 3, standing on her Mother's piano stool, where they entertained the local community and church. Her professional career launched, it spans the years and includes:
• a 3 month tour of Japan, headlining at the Playboy Club's in Tokyo and Osaka and a regular in the Kyoto Jazz scene,
• performing at the Miss Texas USA and Miss USA pageants,
• her own band,
• being a top “on call” singer in Dallas and two nightly shows for over 8 years - one American, the other Greek - with the likes of Bob Hope and Stevie Ray Vaughn often in the audience.
Even though Sheryln took 20 years off from full time performing to raise 3 children, she still sang in church and appeared regularly on live national Christian TV programs. She moved to Oregon in 2008 with her husband, Anthony and two of their now adult children, the third lives in Austin.
In 2011 she won Southern Oregon’s Got talent.
Sheryln has regularly performed at venues in Grants Pass and Medford, including local retirement homes, restaurants and private events. Also sang with Rogue Gold - a local big band, guests with her son's rock band and was invited to sit in with “High Street Band” at the 2013 Medford Jazz Festival. She performs everything from:
jazz, blues, classic ballads to Broadway and rock,
with a sultry elegance, poise and style that only comes . . . with a seasoned professional.
